The ADA Coordinator’s Office is located in the Department of Economic and Community Development, Room 404, 626 State Street, Erie, PA 16501. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, the ADA Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all programs, services, and activities provided by the City of Erie are accessible to people with disabilities. The ADA Coordinator also assists architects, developers, business owners, landlords and others in finding the appropriate information and resources for designing or redesigning their facilities so that they are usable by all persons, including those with disabilities.

Mayor’s Roundtable on Disabilities
The Mayor’s Roundtable on Disabilities was re-established in June, 2007 under Mayor Joseph Sinnott. The panel consists of advocates, service providers, and consumers from throughout the community. Each member of the advisory panel volunteers their time and expertise to keep the Mayor informed of important initiatives and potential concerns relating to persons with disabilities.
