City residents may place ONE LARGE ITEM PER WEEK curbside on their normal refuse night.

Collection is limited to regular household trash. For example: COUCH, CHAIR, LAMP, TABLE, DRESSER, etc.
  • NO Large Appliances
    (washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators, hot water tanks, air conditioners, etc.)
  • NO Automotive Items
    (batteries, tires)
  • NO Covered Electronic Devices*
    (televisions, computers, laptops, monitors, keyboards, printers, speakers, e-readers, etc.)
  • NO Household Hazardous Waste* (paint, oil, cleaners, pesticides, etc.)
  • NO Construction Materials of any kind
All other Recycling & Refuse guidelines remain in effect.
Regular household refuse, except for Single Large Items, must be in bags or cans. *Electronics & Household Hazardous Waste must be recycled at registered collection events or facilities.

The Citizen Response Center is available to anyone who would like to submit a Complaint, Concern, Compliment, or just has a General Question. An example of each includes:
  • Complaint - My garbage was not picked up.
  • Concern - There is water bubbling up from the street.
  • Compliment - The renovation in Perry Square looks great! Nice job!
  • Question - Where can I obtain a vendor permit?
